Australian Credit & Financial Services Licensees
Australian Credit Licence (ACL) holders, Australian Financial Serivces Licence (AFSL) holders and authorised credit representatives are required to be a member of an ASIC-approved external dispute resolution (EDR) scheme such as COSL. Find out more information about financial services licensing.
Unless otherwise exempted, a credit provider is required to be a member of an EDR scheme recognised under the Privacy Act to be able to disclose credit information about an individual to a credit reporting body and thereby participate in the consumer credit reporting system.
