Independent Review

Every 3-5 years, we commission The Navigator Company to undertake an independent review, which is outlined in COSL’s Constitution and required by ASIC RG-139 (pdf) (Approval and oversight of external dispute resolution schemes).

The review covers:

• Whether COSL meets ASIC’s policies and requirements for EDR Schemes
• Satisfaction levels of consumers and Members with our operations
• Our effectiveness, fairness, accessibility and independence
• Public awareness
• Any other issues identified in consultation between the Board and ASIC
